The delegation of Turkmenistan met in Hanoi with the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam

In accordance with the Decree of President Serdar Berdimuhamedov, from June 27 to July 1, 2022, a delegation of Turkmenistan headed by Deputy Foreign Minister V.Hajiyev is on a visit to the Socialist Republic of Vietnam to discuss issues of bilateral cooperation in political, trade-economic, scientific-educational and urban construction areas.

Today, in the building of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, a meeting of the Turkmen delegation with the First Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam Nguyen Minh Vu took place.

During the meeting, the parties noted the mutual commitment to the development of constructive mutually beneficial relations between the two countries. In this regard, the importance of mutual support of candidates for various elected bodies under international organizations was emphasized. The important role of interstate visits was also noted, in particular, the exchange of high-ranking delegations, the intensification of contacts between foreign ministries.

The parties expressed their interest in enhancing mutually beneficial ties between the business circles of the two countries. In this regard, a proposal was made to exchange trade and economic delegations in order to familiarize and study the prospects for the development of relations, as well as to initiate the activities of the Turkmen-Vietnamese Business Council.

The commitment of the parties to the development of cooperation in the field of culture, education, science, sports and tourism was also noted.
