On February 17, 2022, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Turkmenistan Rashid Meredov had a telephone conversation with the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Faisal bin Farhan Al Saud.
It was noted that February 22 this year marks the 30th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between Turkmenistan and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
In this connection the heads of the foreign policy agencies exchanged congratulations.
The diplomats considered the possibilities of expanding the political-diplomatic dialogue, including the further development of cooperation between the foreign policy agencies of the two countries. In this context, the important role of holding bilateral political consultations was noted. The importance of strengthening cooperation in international organizations was emphasized.
